Onboarding Requirements
For a successful onboarding, we'll need your help. Below are the required information and asks of our customers to ensure a smoother—and faster—experience.
For smart thermostat control, the customer must provide:
Pictures of existing thermostats for compatibility review
2.4 gHz secure WiFi connectivity to enable a remote connection to devices
For usage insights & bill audits, the customer must provide:
Utility login credentials to enable a one-way data stream of your statements
Location square footage to determine cost per square foot
For incentives from savings programs, the customer must provide:
Utility account number that is managed by your business
Alignment on how participation is calculated to reduce overrides during events
Onboarding Experience
As part of your onboarding experience, you will be guided by a member of our Customer Success team to ensure a seamless and easy experience.
Hardware Integration Process
Our team of HVAC experts will project manage the integration experience, from install to connection.
For a seamless experience, customers are responsible for:
Ensuring HVAC systems are in good working order
2.4 gHz secure WiFi available for device connection
David Energy does not complete HVAC servicing or repairs, electrical work required for thermostat installation, and wifi and wifi extender installation.
